Finnair To Begin Delhi-Helsinki Direct Flights

The Finnish airlines, Finnair, will launch scheduled nonstop flights between the Indian capital of Delhi and the Finnish capital of Helsinki. The inaugural flight is slated for 1 November 2006. Thanks to Helsinki’s optimal geographical position, flight time from Helsinki to Delhi is six hours and 35 minutes; over 30 minutes faster than any other route from Western Europe to India. The route will be initially operated three times a week.
