Emirates To Launch Flights To Kolkata

Airline to operate six direct non-stop flights per week

Emirates, the Dubai-based international airline will start services to Kolkata from March 26, 2006. The airline will operate six non-stop direct flights per week between Dubai and Kolkata. Flight EK 546 will depart from Dubai at 02.40 (local time) on weekdays and will land in Kolkata at 08.55 hours (local time). The return flight, EK 547, will depart from Kolkata at 10.10 hours (local time) and will land in Dubai at 13.45 hours (local time).

Flight EK 548, operating on Sunday, will depart from Dubai at 13.00 hours (local time) and will land in Kolkata at 19.15 hours (local time). The return flight, EK 549 will depart from Kolkata at 20.30 hours (local time) and land in Dubai at 00.05 hours next day (local time). These schedules are subject to final approval from the respective airport authorities.
