Air India Relaunches Companion Free Scheme

Air India has reintroduction its popular "Companion-Free Scheme" from November 1, 2005. The "Companion-Free Scheme" is applicable for passengers travelling on full published IATA fares in all classes - First, Executive and Economy for outbound travel between India and the US / Canada / Europe till March 31st 2006.

Air India recently also upgraded its premium classes by introducing flat beds in First Class and Slumberettes in its Executive Class. The in-flight service is also being upgraded. End of last month Air India Express, the low cost carrier launched by Air India for the Gulf sector, commenced flights to Sharjah from Khozikode. The airline operates direct flights four times a week on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday departing from Kozhikode at 11.30 a.m. and reaching Sharjah at 1.50 p.m. These flights will also have easy connectivity from Mumbai.
