Sports Timepiece From Harry Winston
The
Project Z2 Diver is part of the Project Z line and claims to be the world's
first chronograph in Zalium for divers. Zalium is an alloy mainly composed of
zirconium (used for surgical instruments) and is more resistant than titanium,
water-resistant to 200 metres. The timepiece uses platinum for its unidirectional
bezel and Zalium for the case, lugs and back while the strap is made from rubber.
The design of the watch is sporty and has a diameter of 44
mm. The Superluminova of the hour numerals, hands and hour-markers ensures optimal
readability on a dial composed of four-layered elements. Other features include
the mobile attachment lugs designed to slope to a 30° angle and to adapt
to a feminine wrist. The small seconds are displayed at 3 o'clock where a Shuriken,
a four-pointed blue metal star, revolves in perpetual circular motion, an idea
borrowed from martial arts. It is priced at Rs 9, 41, 250 and is available at
The Regent and The Taj lobbies.
