India’s First Comprehensive Air Fare Search Engine Launched

In response to the rise in the number of domestic airlines and the recent trend of airlines changing fares on almost a daily basis, Ghumo.com has launched India's first comprehensive air-fare search engine to meet the needs of travellers. Today by logging on to Ghumo.com any individual can become his own travel agent. Ghumo.com lets you choose your city of origin, city of destination, the preferred date of travel and then at the click of a button, provides you a list of airlines serving the cities and the individual fares offered by them, allowing a traveller to compare fares and book tickets. Ghumo.com is the first of its kind travel portal in India offering the Indian traveller the freedom to choose and plan their travel without having to call different travel agents or different airline reservation offices. Moreover, in order to compare air fare with train fares, Ghumo.com also lists train timings and fares on all routes. Ghumo.com offers free registration after which members can receive fare deals through email on frequented routes. This makes travel planning less cumbersome; since an individual receives the travel deals in their mailbox. Registration also allows access to advanced fare search features, which are currently not even available to travel agents.
