Kinetics Provides Self-Serve Check-In Beyond The Airport

Self-service travel leaders, Kinetics, a subsidiary of NCR Corporation, recently announced CheckinHere, a new kiosk solution that extends check-in convenience to off airport locations in India. Thanks to CheckinHere, you no longer need to be in the airport to check-in for your flight. The kiosk solution provides multi-airline check-in, prints boarding passes and provides baggage services for passengers at off-airport locations such as hotels, car rental stations and cruise line ports. The self-service solution uses a centralised service that unifies all of Kinetics' airline partners onto one screen giving a consistent look and feel in every location for every carrier. CheckinHere requires minimal information technology (IT) resources and meets all Transportation Security Administration, International Air Transport Association and Common-User Self-Service requirements. To use the solution, passengers select an airline and find their reservation by swiping a credit card, selecting a destination city or entering a confirmation number. They are then able to review their travel itinerary and print a boarding pass and receipt.
