Miri Marriott Resort & Spa Opens In Malaysia

Formerly known as RIHGA Royal Hotel Miri, the Marriott International Inc. has now opened the 220-room Miri Marriott Resort & Spa.

The hotel underwent an extensive renovation of its guest rooms, food and beverage outlets and other public areas before being re-branding as a Marriott resort. Located on Brighton Beach adjoining Miri's central business district and eight kilometers from Miri airport, the property boasts a host of dining and entertainment options.

Its Zest restaurant offers a variety of international cuisine including Italian and local Asian dishes while its Matahari Pool Terrace provides guests with a swim-up bar. Its Lush Bar serves exotic cocktails while the Asian Tapas has live music.

Recreational facilities include a large outdoor swimming pool, a fully equipped fitness center and two tennis courts. Other facilities include the Mandara Spa and six meeting rooms that encloses a total of 826 square meters of seating space.
