Video Calling With Nokia 6680

Staying connected has become even more easy now with Nokia announcing its new Nokia 6680 imaging smart phone in India. It is the first instrument with two integrated cameras enabling two-way video calling designed for instant visual sharing. This allows users to experience live camera/video clips during a call. Other features include the organizer, internet browsing and always-on email. Promoted as a versatile tool for business professional, the phone is based on the smartphone Series 60 Platform. Weighing 133 grams and measuring 108.4 x 55.2 x 20.5 mm, the phone provides support for various types of attachments including JPEG, MP3, PPT, PDF, etc. Moreover, with Nokia XpressPrint, 6680 users can print directly using compatible printers or photo kiosks. It also supports wireless printing using Bluetooth technology. It is available in Nokia outlets for Rs. 30,009.


Digital Entertainment from Pinnacle

Pinnacle Systems Ltd, a digital editing solutions provider, has introduced its Pinnacle MediaCenter in India. It is a complete solution that transforms ordinary PCs and laptops into entertainment centres. A simple software and hardware solution, it allows users to create, manage and enjoy a full range of media functions. The MediaCenter can be used for multiple applications, doing away with the need to buy separate digital equipment for various functions. It comprises the Pinnacle MediaCenter Application and the Pinnacle MediaManager, a media management software. All one needs to do is load the software into one's computer and plug in the remote sensor into the PC. Priced at Rs. 2,990, the package is available in leading IT malls and stores across the country.

 


Merc-Benz Bicycles In Mumbai

Auto Hangar, the Mercedes-Benz showroom at Prabhadevi, Mumbai, has introduced the latest range of Mercedes-Benz bicycles. The three new bikes are meant for different terrains. The Automatic Bike is equipped with an eight-speed automatic gearshift system and an onboard computer that combines the parameters of pedal down-stroke frequency and speed to select optimum settings. It is priced at Rs. 1,56,746. The Mountain Bike, priced at Rs. 1,12,655, allows the rider to change gears without having to let off the brakes. And its Fitness Bike is available in two models - Sports and Comfort Edition. It has super light mud guards, digital displays showing heart rate, pulse limit and calorie consumption among other things. It is priced at Rs. 74,958.


Macerated Vodkas From Belvedere

Belvedere Vodka has launched two new macerated vodkas: Belvedere Cytrus and Belvedere Pomarancza. Using a proprietary maceration process - citrus peels from fruits harvested at their peak ripeness are steeped in four-times distilled Belvedere spirit. These macerations are then processed to give real fruit flavours. Belvedere Pomarancza (pom-ah-rahn-cha) is an inspired blend of sweet Moroccan orange and exotic orange blossom water, Spanish mandarin orange, and Spanish and Mexican limes. Belvedere Cytrus (si-troos) combines the crisp essence of summer and winter lemons with the tropical complexity of limes. Both vodkas will be available in 700 ml. bottles across Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore in the first phase, followed by Chennai, Goa, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Pune. They will be priced at approximately Rs. 2,850 in Mumbai.

 


Drink It Up With art d'inox

The lifestyle product division of Jindal Stainless Steel, art d'inox, is offering a new range of bar accessories in a combination of leather and stainless steel. The range offers a round ice bucket, a wine bucket regular and a cocktail shaker. The new leather range also offers bar tool set and beer can coolers. All products are available in all leading retail chain stores across the country such as Westside, Lifestyle, Ebony, Tarini and Shoppers Stop. The new bar range begins from Rs. 500 for the cocktail shaker and goes on to Rs. 1,622 for a regular wine bucket.

 


A New 'Wave' From Bose

Bose Corporation has introduced its Wave Music System that incorporates new acoustic waveguide speaker technology. The music system uses proprietary signal processing to improve instrument clarity and definition at all listening levels. The system has no buttons and is simple to operate. All functions are controlled by a credit card-style infrared remote. The CD player, digital AM/FM tuner, amplifiers and speakers are all built-in. The system is designed to interface with other Bose products through the proprietary Boselink technology. It can also be used with the TV, VCR, DVD player, or computer with the system's auxiliary input jack. One of the unique features of this system is its automatic ramping ability. It is available in platinum white and graphite gray and is priced at Rs. 29,990 (exclusive of taxes).
