Phantom of Rolls-Royce

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has returned to India after an absence of 50 years with the Rolls-Royce Phantom. The Phantom is being introduced by Navnit Motors (Mumbai) appointed as the authorised Rolls-Royce dealers in the city. Inspired in many ways by the legendary Phantoms of the 1920s and 1930s, the latest Phantom has many new features like custom-developed aluminium space frame and rear coach doors-hinged at the back, a tailor made 6.75 litre V12 engine and capability of speeding from 0-100 kms/hour in just 5.9 seconds. The Phantom which, combines the most advanced automotive technology with century-old heritage of fine craftsmanship, is priced at between Rs 3 crore and Rs 4 crore depending upon the customisation.


Pen Phone

Haier recently introduced its P7 model of mobile phone, billed as the world's first pen phone with a camera and a dictaphone. Its features include a 300-pixel camera, a dictaphone, in-built speakers and a Tri Band of 900/1800/1900. Services like MMS and GPRS class 12 are also offered. The phone has a 65K colour screen and contains privacy firewall. The P7 comes with 40 polyphonic ring tones and is accompanied with accessories like a car charger, a headset and a neck strap. The P7 is priced at Rs 14,940 and iss available all over India through Haier's national distributor 'Trust Telecom' .

 

 


Jet Set Go!

V.I.P Industries Ltd. has introduced two new offerings, Viper and Studio, in the leather office bag segment. Viper is made from premium quality genuine leather. The range is spacious with separate foam padded laptop compartments, extensive organisers, file compartments and overnighter sections (in select models). The Viper range of office bags starts at Rs 2,245 and goes up to Rs 3,495. The Studio range, on the other hand, is made from 180Z cotton canvas combined with leather trims. This bag is sturdy and comes with foam padding for extra durability. It offers backpacks, satchels, lapcases and duffels with prices ranging between Rs 1,595 and Rs 1,995. These products are available in two colours - military green and sand. The entire collection will be available at all the retail outlets of the company - V.I.P World and V.I.P Lounge and other leading stores.

 


Ego Furniture

Ego, the sprawling -35,000 square feet imported furniture store in Mulund, Mumbai is a one stop shop for entire furniture solutions. It houses a wide range in every segment including 200 sofa sets priced between Rs. 30,000/- Rs. 5 lakhs, available in leather, composite leather, fabric and wood. The store also has a range of over 50 dining sets in glass and steel, wood and marble tabletops with a price range of Rs 7,000 to Rs. 50,000. The bedroom sets start at Rs 50,000 and go up to Rs 2 lakh with over 25 sets on display. A unique feature of the showroom is a large kids section that showcases beds, bunk beds, wardrobes, study tables etc. Other items available at the store include, center and side tables, fancy and relaxing chairs, TV trolleys, sofa cum beds, bar cabinets, office, garden and terrace furniture etc. Besides furniture it has an accessory area that displays artifacts, wall hangings, paintings and magpie steel products.


Sleek Machine

Auto Hangar, the Mercedes-Benz showroom in Mumbai, recently introduced the Mercedes-Benz CLS 500, the car which combines the elegance and dynamism of a coupé with the comfort and practicality of a saloon. The basic starting price of the car is Rs. 69,51,867 (ex-showroom) and includes features like 8-V cylinders, 7 speed automatic transmission with steering gearshift button, automatic climate control system, sensotronic brake control, acceleration skid control, keyless go etc.

 

 


Eye-catching

Oakley has launched Dartboard, a new range of stylish sunglasses with a contemporary look. Dartboard offers features like Plutonic lens material to protect the eyes from harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays and a unique design using sculpturally integrated metal such as steel. Available at select stores across Mumbai the sunglasses are priced at Rs 8,175.
