Malaysia Airlines Introduces Return Direct Flights From Ahmedabad

Malaysia Airlines recently launched return direct flights from Ahmedabad to Kuala Lumpur. The flights operate thrice a week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from Ahmedabad, will depart at 23.35 hrs and land at Kuala Lumpur at 07.05 hrs (local time), with a flying time of five hours and five minutes. The return flight will depart from Kuala Lumpur at 19.30 hrs (local time) and arrive at 22.05 hrs (India time) at Ahmedabad. The airline will operate the Airbus 330-300 series aircraft with a total of 290 seats per flight, comprising 42 Business Class seats and 248 Economy Class passenger seats. With the introduction of this return direct flight, the airline will have direct connectivity from six different routes in India. Seat capacity will increase to 8,128 seats per week from the present 5,844 seats per week and the total number of flights to 26 per week from 23. Malaysia Airlines presently operates daily (seven times per week) from Chennai, four weekly flights from New Delhi and Mumbai, twice a week from Bangalore and once a week from Hyderabad.
