Citibank Launches Ultra-Premium Black Cards

Citibank recently had a dual launch of Citibank Ultima and Diners Club Elite card programmes establishing the super-premium ‘Black’ category of cards in the country. Membership of both cards is by invitation only with the aim to complement the lifestyle of the ultra-affluent. Offered through VISA network, the Citibank Ultima Card comes at an annual fee of Rs 50,000 and is bundled with five free supplementary Citibank Ultima cards, card members will be automatically enrolled onto the CitiGold Wealth Management banking platform and have access to a personal relationship manager who will assist them in their investments and personal finances. The Ultima Card also provides a Personal Accident Air cover of Rs one crore and has features like credit limits of Rs 15-25 lakh, cash withdrawals up to 2.5 lakh and preferential-rate access to a varied bouquet like exclusive spa programmes, golfing options in Australia and Asia, exotic holiday options etc. Citibank Ultima Card members will enjoy the choice of a welcome gift of either 50,000 JP Miles or a three year membership to Royal Palms Country Club and Golf Course. The Diners Club Elite Card priced at an annual fee of Rs 29,000 offers exclusive privileges such as no pre-set spending limits, a unique revolving facility option; access to over 90 Diners Club lounges at airports around the world; club holidays with leading hotel chains in India and abroad, golf holidays across the world etc.
