Emirates To Add Four Destinations In 2005
Emirates will start passenger flights to three new destinations in Europe and
Far East in 2005 and with the earlier announcement of operations to Seychelles
by January 2, the airline will expand its network to 81 destinations by end
of next year. Emirates will start operating daily flights to Seoul on May 1,
to Hamburg on October 30, and to Geneva by December 1, 2005.
Emirates has selected the Airbus A340-300 in three-class configuration for the
Dubai-Seoul route, with a capacity of 267 passengers. Flight EK306 will depart
Dubai International Airport daily at 09:20 hrs arriving at Inchon International
Airport Seoul at 22:50 hrs. Return flight EK307 departs the next morning at
07:50 hrs, arriving in Dubai at 12:45 hrs. Flight duration will be eight and
half-hours from Dubai to Seoul and nine hours 55 minutes from Seoul to Dubai.
Daily services to Hamburg from Dubai will be on an A330-200 in three-class configuration
with a capacity of 237 passengers. Flight EK059 will take off from Dubai International
Airport at 08:55 hrs arriving at Hamburg International Airport at 12:55 hrs.
Return flight EK060 will depart the same day at 15:35 hrs, arriving in Dubai
at 00:45 hrs the next morning.
A330-200 aircraft in three-class configuration, offering 237 seat capacity will
also be used for operations to Geneva. Flight EK085 will depart Dubai International
Airport daily at 08:55 hrs arriving at Geneva International Airport at 12:55
hrs. Return flight EK086 departs the same day at 14:40 hrs, arriving in Dubai
at 23:50 hrs.
Emirates thrice-a-week flights to the Seychelles starting
January 2, 2005 will depart Dubai every Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday at 02:10
hrs and arrive in the Seychelles the same morning at 06:45 hrs. Return flight
EK 706 will operate on the same days, taking off from the Seychelles at 08:00hrs
and arriving in Dubai at 12:30 hrs.
