New Quasar

Quasar, men's fragrance has gone in for an image change by packaging the perfume in a high precision, screwed-in steel plate box design. The undefined colour shades, spanning from metallic greys to oxidised reds and greens deliver an image of masculinity, strength and self-confidence. The new-image fragrance is priced at Rs 2,200 for 125 ml and is available at all leading stores in the country.

 

 


SAGEM 'MyX5-2'

Cenzer Industries Ltd., the national distributors of SAGEM SA (France based high-technology group) recently launched MyX5-2, a camera phone sporting a large screen with a 65,000 TFT colour display and an integrated-Digital CMOS camera with four zoom positions and weighing just 85gm. It has interchangeable front and back covers available in two colour combinations: Blue/Grey and Silver/ Aluminium. A class 10 GPRS phone with a tri-band GSM band phone is priced below Rs 9,000.

The DAKS new 2004 all-British collection showcases a retro influence of the fiesty 50's. Brought into India by Forbes Group, the DAKS suiting and jackets has a selection of three buttons and two buttons in light wool crepe. The collection also offers polo shirts with jacquard effect, faded rugby shirts and flat fronted trousers with frogmouth pocket details. The key colours used are navy and cream as well as highlight colours which are primarily red, white and royal blue. Silk, linen and cashmere fabrics are used to enhance the collection. The DAKS new collection is available at Saga and the Taj Mahal hotel in Mumbai.

E270 CDI

The new Mercedes Benz E270 CDI, an enhanced variant of the E220 is the latest offering from Daimler Chrysler India. The new E270 CDI (Common-rail Direct Injection engines) packs a power punch of a 425Nm @ 1800 - 2300 rpm with the power output of 127 Kw (173 Hp). It offers greater advantage in combination with four valves per cylinder, variable VNT turbocharger and intercooler. Giving a new meaning to style with its eye catching body the Mercedes E270 CDI is priced at Rs. 38,26,000/ (ex-showroom Mumbai) and is available at the Sanghi Motorcar showroom in Worli, Mumbai.
