Aeroflot Dons New Look

Aeroflot has undertaken a successful rebranding exercise over the last one and a half years keeping in lieu with the airline’s new corporate identity. Everything from the interiors of the aircraft to the uniforms have been redesigned along with new high standards of service. The target audience of the makeover are the business and first class passengers. Aeroflot flies state-of-the-art aircraft fleet like the B777 and TU-214, which are equipped with all the modern-in flight amenities. Distinguishing features of Aeroflot's ‘new service’ are personalised service for every passenger, providing special meals as per request and use of chinaware, diversity of dishes during the flight taking into account time of the day.

The chefs of Aeromar Catering Company have designed an exquisite menu of traditional Russian, European and Oriental dishes for passengers of flights according to the destinations. More than 300 Aeroflot stewards and instructors underwent a special training programme in order to introduce new service standards, which embody the airline’s philosophy of traditional Russian hospitality in sync with modern way of life. On-board services offered to passengers include an enjoyable flight in a cosy, modern armchair, a menu featuring a choice of delicious dishes. Premium class passengers can order ‘a la carte’ with meals served in chinaware. Also provided are a wide variety of meals to comply with the passenger’s special dietary limitations and requirements. Various in-flight entertainment like music, movies and magazines and travel sets are available for passengers flying premium class and economy class on flights over six hours long to make them comfortable and at home. Passengers flying premium classes can enjoy benefits at a separate lounge, the First Class Lounge at Sheremetyevo International Airport prior to flight. The lounge offers the following benefits:

  • Comfortable and quiet facilities.
  • Television, phones, newspapers and magazines and flight information.
  • Facility to use personal computers.
  • Local, long distance and international telephone service.
