Amex Dining Experience On Offer

American Express Travel Related Services, a division of American Express Bank, has entered into a marketing alliance with over 140 restaurants in India and over 800 restaurants across JAPA (Japan Asia Pacific Australia) region to enhance the dining experience of its card members. It is part of the new Membership Privilege Programme of American Express for 2004 and the bank has already tied up with premium restaurants such as Retrobay, Toto Garage, Starters and More, Geoffreys, Liquid Lounge and Red Hot Chilli Pepper in Mumbai alone. The programme offers card members a 20 per cent saving on food and is valid till August 31, 2004. To avail these offers the card members need to make bill payment at participating restaurants by charging the American Express Card.

In yet another venture of interest to business travellers, American Express has tied up with the Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces for a unique money-saver benefit – 'The Taj Corporate Plus Programme' – on the American Express Corporate Card. Under the promotion, for every Rs 85,000 spent collectively by executives of a corporation at participating Taj hotels on their American Express Corporate Cards, the corporation will receive one night's free stay in a standard double room at any of the participating Taj properties. The offer is valid for all expenses charged between May and September 2004. The free room stays can be redeemed till September 30, 2004 or any time between April and September 2005. The free room stay is separate and in addition to negotiated corporate rate that companies may already be enjoying with Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces.
