Bang On Target Your January issue cover story ‘What Business Travellers Want’
very concisely put forward a general view on the wants and necessities of business
travellers. The way hotels and airlines have bent over backwards to cater to
the business travel community is ample testimony to the enormous influence that
this segment wields on service providers. Which is why there is all the more
necessity to form some sort of a club of business travellers who can maximise
the sway their spending power commands. Alkesh Bhatnagar Mumbai
Celeb Bytes I just love to read your High Profile section. The celebrities
you feature are, I must say, very interesting characters. Even the latest man
to be featured, Ashwini Kakkar, CEO and managing director, Thomas Cook (India)
Ltd was a man of many facets. Somebody who is a top-notch corporate executive,
wine connoisseur, music composer, art collector and sports enthusiast - all
rolled into one - must be a really interesting person to meet. Bhavna Shah Delhi
Shopper’s Stop ‘Jaipur - Shop Till You Drop’ by Reema Sisodia in the January
issue was an arresting article. She has very nicely brought out the allure of
shopping in the pink city. I myself have been to the city twice and was absolutely
fascinated by the shopping options. From the jharokhas to the tie-dye fabrics
to handicrafts, it was a mesmerising experience. Munmuna Roy Kolkata
Just Do It I have been a regular reader of your magazine and was very interested
to read about the awards for travel service providers that you have instituted,
namely, the feBusiness Traveller Awards. I welcome it. Besides the market forces
which determine the quality that an airline or hotel provides, awards like these
are another way to send a message across that top quality service pays. I think
that the feBusiness Traveller Awards will help in this. Sam Makhija Mumbai
