Readers’ Response
Biz Buzz
I have been a business traveller for the past decade or so
and have seen the enormous changes that have taken place in the attitude of
both airlines and hotels towards corporate hi-fliers. One prime example of the
market value of this community is the existence of your magazine. I read your
magazine diligently and believe that most of your topics are very relevant.
I suggest that you do an article on the emergence of the business travel in
India, just to lend a perspective on the issue.

Highway Special
The first time I was introduced to the East-Coast Road of
Chennai was while travelling to Pondicherry. The road acts as the perfect precursor
to Pondicherry’s fascinating French-tinged allure. As I was flipping through
your November issue, I was pleasantly surprised to come across Susan George's
article on the East Coast Road titled ‘The Potpourri Highway’. I think the writer
has brought out excellently the charm of the highway. Ramesh

High On Adventure
As an adventure enthusiast, I found the photographs of the
article headlined ‘Vertical Limit' exhilarating. The manner in which the group
of adventure enthusiasts used their All Terrain Vehicles to traverse the mighty
Himalayas is enough to get anybody’s adrenaline running. In fact, I think that
foreigners explore much more the incredible landscapes that India offers than
the denizens of this country. Maybe it has to do with the affordability factor.

Home Run
‘Almost Home - The Advent Of Service Apartments’, the cover
story of your November issue was good value for money information. We all stay
in hotels but service apartments is still not a concept which many Indians are
clear about. Your article made clear the concept and showed the pros and cons
of patronising this segment. I am sure there will be many more articles like
this to follow but I am waiting for the one on boutique hotels.
