Lufthansa To Introduce Additional Flights To Chennai
Lufthansa German Airlines have recently announced the launch of three additional frequencies to Chennai, effective April 01, 2003. Lufthansa offers 20 flights a week between India and Germany, with daily flights from New Delhi and Mumbai, as well as three flights each from Chennai and Bangalore. With this addition, Lufthansa would operate a total of 23 flights per week out of India. The six times a week service on the Chennai sector will offer customers a wider choice of convenient connections for travel to Europe and beyond. Lufthansa will operate a Boeing 747-400 aircraft on this route, which offers a three-class configuration, with 16 seats in the first class cabin, 64 in business and 310 seats in the economy class. The flight, LH 759 from Chennai to Frankfurt, will depart at 0120 hours arriving in Frankfurt at 0735 hours. The return flight, LH 758 to Chennai, will depart Frankfurt at 1040 hours, arriving in Chennai at 2310 hours.
