new Mercedes-Benz E-Class is now available in the Indian
market. The design of the new E-Class continues the elegant
lines of the preceding series. It also features the first
large scale series use of the SBC brake system and the
new adaptive belt force limiter. The new Mercedes E-Class
E 240 petrol version is available at the 15 authorised
Mercedes-Benz showrooms across India. The ex-showroom
price Mumbai for the Elegance line with standard

Pajero
Rides Into Kerala
Hindustan
Motors has launched the Pajero in Kerala. Both its versions,
the fully imported CBU as well as the assembled (built
in Chennai) Pajero is available. The CBU Pajero comes
with a 3.2 litre, 16 valve DOHC, Intercooled, turbo charged
diesel engine with super select 4 Wheel Drive and is priced
at Rs 33.8 lakh. The Built-In Chennai Pajero is available
in two models the Pajero Q car/GL & GLX which
come equipped with a 2.8 litre engine that delivers peak
power of 4000 rpm. The Pajero Q car, the GL version is
priced at Rs 19 lakh and the GLX Rs 23 lakh. The company
expects to sell about 5 cars per month in both the versions
in Kerala and about 80-100 Pajeros per month across the
country. |
