PANEKURE
for 'Painless Travel'
Kolkata's
Herbicure Private Limited, promoted by SMIFS, has introduced
'PANEKURE', a pain management drug that acts through
a novel drug delivery system to protect the kidney and
gastro-intestinal tract. The potent anti-inflammatory
drug has been developed from poly-herbs.
'PANEKURE' relieves joint pains without damaging the
kidney and gastro-intestinal tract. The 100 per cent
ayurvedic formulation is devoid of any adverse side
effects due to its high therapeutic index value. The
delivery system of the medicine differs from the host
of medicine available in the pain management sector.
The company claims while almost all the NSAIDS are non
inducible COX1 inhibitor inhibiting formation of the
Prostagladins causing G.I. tract and kidney damage,
PANEKURE being a selective inducible COX2 isoenzyme
inhibitor, ensures safety of vital organs of the body
i.e. stomach and kidney.
Apart from this Herbicure claims that the drug is possibly
the only medicine with cytoprotective action further
protecting and rejuvenating the cells. It has been developed
by the scientists of Herbicure in association with the
Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, Jadavpur University,
Kolkata.
Extensive research revealed that the drug has very good
effect in inflammation of joints (arthritis). Patent
application for PANEKURE has been already filed.
Successful clinical trials of the drug have been conducted
