Flying Kids
Are
we there yet? will be a phrase of the past on long flights
as British Airways has launched the new Skyflyers activity
pack. Designed and developed with Disney, the new packs are designed

The younger lot need varied and frequent new activities to keep
them amused and entertained. Capitalising on Disneys vast
knowledge and experience of how children interact and respond to
different characters and activities, the packs have been developed
focusing on two key age groups - 3 to 7 and 8 to 12. For Junior
flyers, the Winnie the Pooh bag comes packed with plenty to do.
The 3 to 7 years olds will receive an exciting activity magazine
full of games, colouring and story telling, crayons, an eraser,
pencil and topper. Committed to being cool, pre-teens will love
the exclusively designed street-cred style Mickey Mouse bag filled
with activities to keep them occupied in the air and on the ground.

Healthy
Living
Urban
life is becoming very fast and one finds very little time to exercise.
But for all those health freaks in Kolkata, who are concerned about
the health and physique, there is definitely good news. Hotel Hindustan
International, Kolkata, has recently thrown open its newly renovated
health club and gym - The Verve - the one-stop shop
for total body fitness. The timings are flexible from 6:30 am till
9:30 pm to appeal to a large cross-section of customers. The state-of-the-art
fitness equipment at Verve ranges from multi-gym facilities to a
walker and stepper to cycling and rowing machines. These will be
available for use by both guests at the hotel as well as non-guests.
A dietician will be available once a week to look into a members
diet. Though the gym is unisex, there will be separate sauna and
steam facility for ladies and gents. Apart from the usual multi-gym
equipment, steam and sauna facilities, a brand new oxyzone parlour
is another attractive feature of Verve, offering refreshing aroma
baths and a mouthful of pure oxygen. Members can also opt for physiotherapy
and avail of a personal diet chart. The target clientele are senior
executives/managers of different corporate houses, who have little
time for regular health check-ups. Here they would get to know their
basic health condition and can be treated accordingly, the hotel
authorities claim. There are four different membership packages,
which include access to the Oxyzone, Winning Streak, the sports
bar and the swimming pool.
