For
first time traveller’s following additional documents are required:

If employed, salary certificate and appointment letter

If self employed, proof of company ownership

Bank statement of company for last 6 months

Personal bank statement for last 6 months/ I-Tax papers for last
3 years

Copies of correspondence with Canadian associate
Health
Requirements: Nil. However, applicants above 60 years have to
provide medical insurance for the duration of stay.
Fee:
Rs 2,250 (for single entry), Rs 4,500 (multiple entry) payable by
draft favouring ‘Canadian High Commission’ - New Delhi.
The visa fees can alternatively be paid in cash with Rs 75 as additional
charges.
Processing
Time: 72 hours
Note:
Application qualify for agents’ drop-box, only if the applicant
has travelled to one or more countries viz UK, USA, Canada, Australia,
New Zealand - in the last five years or is holding a valid visa
for USA, UK, Australia or New Zealand or are of age 60 years and
over. If not, then the applicant has to come in person. Cases which
are accepted by drop-box can be called for an interview, if required
by CHC. Interviews are conducted only from Monday-Thursday between
08:30-10:30 hours.
